Our purpose

What the association exists for

Our statutes define the purpose of the association. In short:

  1. 01

    International cooperation

We build working connections between people, organisations and companies. Our starting point is cooperation between Finland and Ukraine.

  2. 02

    Sustainable development and environmental protection

We support solutions that make recovery last, for people and for the environment.

  3. 03

    The well-being of civilians

People come first: everyday safety, housing, community and quality of life.

  4. 04

    Regions recovering from crises

Our work is aimed at communities that are rebuilding after a crisis, and at people who have come to Finland from them.

What we are doing now, and what we are preparing

Dialogue meeting in Helsinki

A discussion meeting for Helsinki residents of Ukrainian background and other Helsinki residents, to strengthen community, participation and dialogue. It is open to everyone and free of charge as a rule.

Planned for November–December 2026. The date and venue will be announced on this website.

Supported by the City of Helsinki.

Planned · 2027–2028

Everyday Resilience – Arjen kestävyys

A twelve-month project in Helsinki. Ukrainians who now live in Finland share what they learned about getting through long power cuts, cold homes and water outages. A preparedness expert checks the know-how against official Finnish guidance, and it is shared in dialogue seminars and a free bilingual Finnish–Ukrainian booklet.

The project is prepared and we are seeking funding.

Nothing is confirmed until a funder has decided.
